Dr. Xinyu Xing at College of Information Sciences and Technology in the Pennsylvania State University is recruiting multiple Ph.D. students, visiting scholars, postdocs and undergraduate and Masters' students. Students and visitors will be working on exciting and cutting-edge projects in computer security with high impact.
Xing's research results have been published in many top-tier conferences, and have been featured in various news media including the New York Times, NewScientist, MIT Technology Review. Also, many of his research projects have been transferred to industrial products. More details can be found here.
Any students with background on the computer system, reverse engineering, or with good programming skills are encouraged to apply. For applicants with strong background on these, the school may lower their admission requirement on English exam and/or GPA. The admitted students in Ph.D. program or students with strong background in Master program will receive full financial supports.
